Formed in 1997 in Barcelona at the height of another Celtic twilight, post-Irish band "Los Stompers" comprises components from Ireland and its "colonies" (UK, USA) all of whom have been living, working and playing in and around Catalonia for the last decade.

Three albums (1 live, 2 studio), including innumerable collaborations with other figures on the local circuit, in conjunction with ceaseless gigging (in Catalonia, Galicia, Euskadi, Aragon, Valencia & Scandinavia!) and extensive TV, Radio and Press coverage serve as a testament to an attempt to define what is described as the "Barcelona Irish Sound"- turn of the century Irish music "away from home" no longer on holiday, but here to stay.

Their latest album, Belmondo Cafe, has been very well received and has attracted favourable reviews since its launch. The band had a very successful tour of Catalonia featuring the new album that kicked off at the prestigious Luz de Gaz in Barcelona last November
